Tiffany spent her childhood outside of Chicago and Las Vegas where she graduated from high school. She attended Southern Oregon University and graduated with a Masters in Teaching in 2004. She traveled throughout Latin America and moved with husband to Alaska where she taught in the middle grades before transitioning to the high school level as an English teacher and Drama and Debate coach. Her family relocated to Mexico where she served as a teacher and instructional coach at a private bi-lingual pre-k through ninth grade school. After welcoming her son to the world, her family relocated to Ashland, Oregon in 2010. She then served as an educational consultant and supported homeschool families while completing the administrative program and earning her ESOL endorsement and M.Ed. back at Southern Oregon University. During this time, she completed her family with the birth of her daughter in 2012. She then accepted an administrative position in the Ashland School District where she has been serving for 11 years as assistant principal at the middle school, principal of a K-8 outdoor school, and currently serving as principal at Walker Elementary.
Tiffany has developed and led multiple workshops, trainings, and professional development activities addressing a multitude of topics in education, communication, and leadership. These include School Improvement Science; Essential Learnings; Rubric Development; Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion; Orientations and Trainings for new Administrators; Leadership; Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment; Family Outreach and Engagement; Connecting Through Conversation.
Tiffany is an active member of Coalition of Oregon School Administrators (COSA). She has presented at multiple COSA conferences and the REACH conference. Most recently, she has co-presented on the topic of Bent not Broken: Reclaiming Connection in the Time of Covid. Tiffany and the co-presenter are excited about their upcoming book, Connecting Through Conversation: A Playbook for Schools.
She lives in the mountains on the outskirts of Ashland, Oregon with her husband and two fabulous children. Her house is a hub of activity, always full of pets, children, friends, and family. She and her family enjoy spending their free time connecting and playing in the other parts of the world that have stolen their hearts in Alaska and Mexico.
