Throughout her 30~year plus career in education, Dr. Charmaine Hillary has provided administrative leadership within a variety of urban educational environments from Pre-K through college.
Dr. Hillary currently serves in the WPS60 school district as the Director of Student Outreach, a role that affords her the opportunity to support and advocate for students and their families throughout the entire school district.
Dr. Hillary is a strong advocate for the Waukegan (and Lake County) community as witnessed by her service (past and present) on the boards of the Waukegan Public Library, Genesee Theatre, Independence Center, Lake County ROE Foundation, Waukegan 2 College, the HBCU Tour Committee and the Lake County FAFSA Steering Committee. Past President of the Rotary Club of Waukegan and is a member of The United Way of Lake County Women’s Leadership Council.
Dr. Hillary is a proud member of the Waukegan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as well as the Harbor Lites Chapter of the Links, Inc.
